Christine Knoke

Christine Knoke joined Mingei International Museum in 2010, after nearly 15 years at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California, where she oversaw the Asian art collection and organized exhibition-related special events. A Los Angeles native, she holds degrees in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California. Recent exhibitions organized by Knoke at Mingei International Museum include Kanban–Traditional Shop Signs of Japan, Asafo Flags from Ghana, and Nature, Tradition & Innovation-Contemporary Japanese Ceramics from the Gordon Brodfuehrer Collection.
