ノートン・サイモン美術館（カリフォルニア州、パサデナ） に15年間程勤務後、2010年に国際民藝博物館に勤務。ノートン・サイモン美術館では、アジア美術のコレクションを担当し、展覧会や関連企画を企画。ロサンジェルス生まれで、カリフオルニア大学と南カリフオルニア大学で、美術史と 博物館学の学位を取得。国際民藝博物館における主な企画展示としては、「Kanban–Traditional Shop Signs of Japan」、「 Asafo Flags from Ghana」、「Nature, Tradition & Innovation–Contemporary Japanese Ceramics from the Gordon Brodfuehrer Collection」などを手がける。

Christine Knoke joined Mingei International Museum in 2010, after nearly 15 years at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California, where she oversaw the Asian art collection and organized exhibition-related special events. A Los Angeles native, she holds degrees in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California. Recent exhibitions organized by Knoke at Mingei International Museum include Kanban–Traditional Shop Signs of Japan, Asafo Flags from Ghana, and Nature, Tradition & Innovation-Contemporary Japanese Ceramics from the Gordon Brodfuehrer Collection.
