幾多の戦場に馳駆し勇名を轟かせた「青木新兵衛」。 加賀藩三代藩主 前田利常公にも仕えた、この武士は、明治時代の国定教科書でも高く称えられ、今も金沢市芳斉町の「高巌寺」に眠る…。 茶会では、忘れられた英雄「青木新兵衛」をテーマに、「賤ヶ岳の戦い」や「奥羽関ヶ原」での新兵衛の勇姿に思いを馳せ、その物語及び濃茶と薄茶の二席にてその世界観に迫ります。 「金沢で月釜文化を活性化させたい」。そんな心意気で毎月釜をかける、出身地も流派も異なる集まり「月ノ樂釜（つきのがくふ）」が席主をつとめます。

This event is themed around Aoki Shimbei, who served Toshitsune Maeda (the third lord of the Maeda clan), and whose name reverberated around many a battlefield. Drinking thick and thin tea in pairs, we glimpse the world view of the Sengoku warload, as we think on Aoki's bravery on the field.
