八木 明 AKIRA YAGI

陶芸家
1955年、陶芸の世界でオブジェという分野を切り拓いた故・八木一夫の長男として、京都・五条坂に生まれる。青白磁を追求し、作品は国立近代美術館をはじめ大英博物館等、国内外の美術館に多数所蔵されている。

Born in Kyoto in 1955 as the eldest son of Kazuo Yagi, who is the pioneer of obje t in the world of ceramic art. He pursues the blue and white porcelain. His artworks are kept in the National Museum of Modern Art and other museums in Japan and overseas.
